i forgot the password
Hey everybody,
i forgot the password that is why it has taken me so long to post.
well the farewell circuit is doing well. we had practice today. it went well.
danny moves back to minneapolis sept 27th we are excited to have him back.

4 day break and other news...
So, we are currently in the middle of our 4 day break which seems slightly odd considering we only played 7 shows so far. Either way, we're on a break and we're all working to make some extra $ for the road. The anticipation of heading back out on the road is pretty incredible, I'm pretty sure that it's the most fun all of us have had in a long time!
This next 7 shows will be different though, that is to say that we will be exchanging one passenger in the van for a new one. To clarify, Brian, our award-winning and reknown merch guy is stepping down from his role as merch guy in order to make some extra cash before he heading back to school in LA. We all love and will miss you Brian. Now, all is not yet lost, our charming and intelligent former guitarist, Zach, has volunteered his services as merch guy for the next 7 shows. So, in a way this next leg of the tour will be a reunion of sorts.
In other news, Wildcat (our '88 Ford Econoline) had a check-up and he's looking great, all though he did have to be nudered (he was getting/giving a little too much action on the road), we REALLY don't want a bunch of little Wildcat's running around. Other than that, let the anticipation build! Richmond, IN is our next stop.

st louis
so, we played ten miles outside of st louis this evening. the show went really well, but that is not the interesting part of the evening.
we played at an old school where there was a piano repair shop. me (evan) danny dj and nate all where in the old gym( an area that we were not supose to be in) we were playing the organs and goofing around. the next thing we know, we see a car pull up and a man get out. we all scatter and run down stairs. we then hear a man start yelling, (remember we are not suppose to be in here) so we run around the basement trying to find an exit. but every stair case leads us back to that room. so we decide that we are going to book it out through the door, so we take off running and luckly no one chased us and we were not caught. an interesting night.
so now begins the 4 day break

"hey moses"..."whats up dude"
i am brian. i sell merch and book shows. im going to update this because evan most likely will forget to.
we are in des moines, ia right nopw at a venue called shooters hideaway. its pretty sweet. iowa people talk really slow. we ended up playing 2 shows with our good friends from the headline. check them out at www.myspace.com/fromtheheadline they are some nice and funny dudes. we beat them in math ball last night in la crosse and won the trophy (a soccer ball). there will be a rematch going down when we meet up with them for 2 more shows july 19 and 20. we played in stillwater,mn tuesday. we did some day of promotion by the st croix river in downtown stillwater. and nate got the idea to tell a group of kids that if we jumped in the river they had to come to the show...they agreed so we jumped in. b*stards never came to the show. but we had alot of fun that night. after the show we all piled (minus dj) in whitneys suv (evans sister) and drove through taco bell. we all ordered individually and in between each order danny would yell "WILLY MAMMOTH" to let the worker know it was the next order. the guy cracked up. we ended up sleeping in a salvation army parking lot and stole there power. (this is getting long....oh well). last night we were in la crosse and we played at the warehouse. on the way there we pulled over on the hwy and swam in the mississippi rifver. nate looked like moses. he had a huge staff and a towel around his head. video will come later... it was a sweet place. except that we had to load in up 2 flights of stairs that all together were ummm problly 50 steps. after the show we beat from the headline in math ball. then slept in a best western parking lot and stole power. todays drive was about 4 1/2 hours. we stopped in a little, beautiful town called clear lake. and swam in the lake. it was a good swim/shower. we are at the venue now. "suprise, suprise" is being played in the backround. its a small crowd, but hey its our first tour.

Dunn Brothers Coffee
I believe in internet friends. and i know that no one reads this thing, however, i like to think that millions read it.
If i could tell you all one thing what would it be? ...... i think it would be that the new MxPx album is incredible and makes me so happy.
we walked around minneapolis last night till like 4 in the morning with our friends from the band 'from the headline' they we very nice and we had an enjoyable time.

Minneapolis!!
So here i am.
we are in minneapolis minnesota. it is so freakin' hot outside. and we have no air conditioner in the van. well, i guess you are here to read about what we have been up to.
well we played at the varsity theater in dinkytown. Now and Forever started the show and we finished. they were very nice boys and i look forward to seeing them again.
our set went ok, we played 2 new songs which was fun. geoff's monitor also fell over.
after the show we went to the casino, i don't believe i have ever had more fun in my whole life. haha i (evan) lost 4 dollars. Geoff and nate broke even, and brian (our merch guy) lost fifteen bucks. it was really fun.
hope every is doing well. can blogspot have friends like myspace? if so you should request us.

wireless internet
Hey everybody, this is Evan.
We are driving on the road right now headed to minneapolis to play at the varsity tonight.
Geoff has a wireless card for his laptop so we are able to talk to you kids. hope everyones day is going extremly well.
we have been driving since like 8:30 and it is really hot in our van.

We leave in two days
Hey everybody this is Evan
hopefully this will be a place of interest for the next few weeks for some people.
We leave in two days for the road, i am pretty excited. It will be a lot more fun then sitting here in my parents living room. We have been rehearsing a lot, and brian has been yelling at me a lot for being lazy. We just purchased a van and that will be our home for the next few weeks. I hope to see all of you at a show this summer.
